Tallen was staying with us the other day and found
My favorite doll stored away in my closet
She also found Shannon’s favorite doll. Having a doll as big as you are is really sort of neat.
Tally played with them for a little while, but got side-tracked when she discovered Grandpa’s toy tractors.
Geeze, having the house tore up for new carpet is really fun…there are toys everywhere.
Linda

She looks so cute with the doll…funny she got side tracked with a tractor (o:

New toys are always fun!!!
Seth has had a grand ol time going through all the fun toys Maria has for the baby. Teenagers. One minute nose stuck to an ipod and the next minute they are enthralled with squeaky baby toys!!

That is a true farm girl! Dolls are fine and those are particularly lovely ones…however, toy tractors are where it’s at. lol

Hi Linda, Tallen is a beautiful girl…. But–she’s like me… She likes dolls –up to a point, but what catches her attention is the toy tractors. I was NEVER a girly-girl –and even though I did have a favorite doll (LuLu)—-I was much more interested in playing cowboys and Indians outside…. I was truly a tom-boy…. BUT–I turned into a scared little girl when the boy across the street came after me with a big stick… Yipes…
Cute post.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Linda,
I had a doll like that when I was little. Only thing, like Tallen, I never played with them. They sat untouched while I preferred horses. P.S. Thank you so much for your prayers for Faeden. I’m not very good at email and blogging these days but your beautiful words touched my heart.

What fun! I remember my mom getting her dolls out for us to play with.

I had a doll like that when I was a kid….I wonder whatever happened to her at times but I doubt she’s in as good a shape as yours.

I love that name – Tallen. How did she get it? I had a similar big doll, I learned to sew by making clothes for her on my little Singer toy sewing machine. It was such a well-made piece of machinery it really sewed pretty well. In later years I gave it to a talented seamstress who coveted it. My first doll, though, was Betsy Wetsy, and I’ve had toy and model horses all my life. Still collect them; once a horse nut, always a horse nut.
