It’s raining now, and all last night. More rain for the rest of the week and snow for Tuesday and Wednesday. Of course that could change and the whole thing blow out of here tomorrow. (Oh, that we should be so lucky!)
I guess we will just have to wait and see.
Have a nice weekend everyone!
Linda

Snow already?! Goodness! I wish I could have gotten up there. The trees are so beautiful turning color!

I know this ticks those who have to watch winter coming but that kind of weather sure sounds good to me. There’s so much sunshine here that overcast positively make me giddy and happy.

We are not ready for winter to set in, we have had a wonderfully long fall here and have been a bit spoiled. We could use some rain here, hopefully it will blow north:)

Remarkable photo Linda – it could have been taken around the area of
Canberra/Young on the Southern Highlands/Riverina area, or the Glen Innis/Tenterfield
area on the New England highlands or even just north of Brisbane in the Gympie area.
Even the big trees on the side of the road, look like gum trees????
So your viewers have been able to see a bit of rural Australiana in the Delta/Paonia area
of Colorado. Quite freaky to see.
Cheers

I don’t want your snow, but I wouldn’t mind having some of that rain. It looks as if you have some autumn color to go along with the rain.

Am I sick in the head or do I want to see snow pics? Probably sick in the head..;-)

Please let us know if it snows! We were going to go on a roadtrip driving vacation to Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, and eventually Oregon, starting today, but were forced to post-pone it. Maybe next week or the week after. We need to go soon to avoid more snow, I think!

So you’re the ones hogging all the moisture and keeping it from making it over to this side of the Divide. The weather peeps have been promising rain here along the Front Range for several days, even showing us pictures of rain on the Western Slope, saying “it’s on its way”. So far, not even enough to give a gnat a bath……

I’m not ready for snow yet, either. We got a good soaking of rain this week, which is wonderful for us. This time last year, all the trees were already bare and down in the 30s some at night. So far, the leaves are falling, but there’s still plenty left on the trees and nights are *average* in the 40s at night. I love fall in the Texas Panhandle!

We’ve had a lovely day …. but rain is forecast for through the week.. There has been some snow up in the north of Scotland, but we wouldn’t expect to see any for a while yet.

As a child in Colorado, it seemed like it always held out until Halloween and then it let loose.

Linda,
We’re ahead of you. We already had our first snow but it’s gone and now we’ve got a few days of unseasonably warm weather. Alternating back and forth between hot and cold makes it harder for me. I’d rather it just get cold and stay cold so my old bones can adjust. I will wish for you warm weather and no snow although I heard on The Weather Channel this morning a ski resort in Colorado just opened and they are the first in the country. Hang in there. Once winter starts, spring is ahead.
Love you,
Sara

Are all the crops in over there yet?? We had a long dry spell and ALOT of crops are in but there is alot left out in the fields yet. The 1 1/2 inches of rain we had Saturday night brought daryl’s cornstalk baling to a halt. Hopefully he will still be able to get some done before the snow is too deep!!
How is the roof coming along?
