Blade wanted a road through the field so he could ride his bike
A short cut, if you please

So Blade and Evan, Bella, Zooker and Hank set out to make a short cut to Grammy’s house!
It works really well too, because Blade rode over last night in time to eat supper with us. He rode back with his Momma as it was raining by the time he needed to get home.

Ha, ha! I bet he will remember that for the rest of his life. His own little road!

Perfect! Now he can pick which house he has dinner at.
“What, we’re having liver and onions? I’m going to Grammy’s house.”

How wonderful to have his own specially-made road. He’s not planning on charging tolls to other users, is he?

How special!!!!! I’ve never had my own road before… Those kids are so special… AND going to Grammy’s house is very important for your grands—and for you also….

I think you should call it “Farm to Blade’s House Road” or “Blade Lane” or “Blade Avenue”. When you have your own road it should be named after you.

I love dreaming about how cool it would be to have family all living on one piece of land, each home just out of sight from each other so you could have plenty of privacy, but just a very short distance, so that a quick walk or bike ride would take each child to see grandma or cousins. What a blessed child. :o)
