The snow is gone! Yea! It’s 53* today so now we have MUD! But with the freezing and thawing that should get the ground dry enough so we can get into the fields. (Which will be a wonderful thing, I’m here to tell you!)
The corn is down to around 15% and should continue to drop so starting next week you should find us in the corn fields!
The motor for the GTO is finally here, so after corn harvest I guess you will know what Terry will be doing :).
See how the snow didn’t knock off the leaves of the apricot tree and the lilac bush. They will probaly start falling now that we are having warmth during the middle of the day. But it sure was strange to see leaves in all the snow.

Hi Linda, Glad to hear that you all will be working on your corn harvest soon —I HOPE…..
We have had rain for two days here –but it’s gone now and turned windy and colder. Glad your snow is gone. Your trees are still pretty… Most of our leaves are DOWN.
Hugs,
Betsy

The rains and high winds of the past couple of days got most of our leaves down — now all we have to do is get them off the lawn. I hope you’ll be able to get your corn in without too much additional delay. Will you be helping with the new motor?

GTO. Very exciting! Some cruising for the two of you in the future? :o)
Funny how peach and apricot blossoms are so susceptible to frost in the spring, but they hang on to those leaves. Those and my apple trees still have green leaves as well.

Linda I hope you get your corn in while the weather is cooperating. Last Saturday highs here in the upper sixties, Thursday looks like snow. The leaves are still hanging on the trees, very confusing!

It’s white here today and they say there’s another system to follow again tomorrow 😦 Do the Alberta Clippers ever affect you? I know they usually head east and mess them up there.

Greetings Linda, Loved seeing your snow gone too; our finally melted today and hubby thinks he might golf tomorrow-yippee! We are supposed to have a dryer year this year and I’m for that-so is the hubby who dislikes the snow.
Hope all is well with you; sorry I’ve been sparse with visits.
Hugs tonight.
