A Gift from a Friend and Happy Thanksgiving

Heidi from http://haffnewie.wordpress.com/ made some of the cutest little mice.

Out of the goodness of her heart she sent me five of the critters.  One for each of my grandchildren and one for me.  She even tells you her secrets for making these delightful little clay art mice.

Since Thanksgiving is a time to focus on what we are blessed with and what we are Thankful for I wish to:

Thank each and everyone of you for stopping by my blog.  Many of you have become wonderful ‘blog’ friends.  I have delighted in getting to know you, where you live, and the challenges and excitments that fill your days.  My goals of some day I’ll— (or also known as the bucket list) –travel to many places and many lands is being fullfilled by your photo blogs and your comments have allowed me and you to get to know each other on different levels.

So this Thanksgiving I wish to send to you the blessings of Thanksgiving and the sweetest of the holiday season with friends and family near and far.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Linda

  1. Happy Thanksgiving to you, Linda. Just let me know when you make that trip our direction. We’ll put the welcome mat out and freshen up the guest room! Only a few hours away, you know, and on the way to Yellowstone and Grand Teton Nat’l Parks.

  2. And thank you, Linda, for this blog and especially the pictures. They sure bring back some great memories for this Delta native. I grew up on Garnet Mesa, but worked in my early teens on several farms around the area hauling (or “bucking”) hay.
A Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

  3. Those are so unbelievably cute! I can imagine the smiles that produces when you saw them. LOL

I appreciate you and your blog as well Linda. It is such a blessing to get to know other friends this way. While the internet has brought it’s share of negativity to the planet, it has also afforded me a way to meet some really amazing people with common interests and loves. I love reading about your farm and your life, and am so thankful for your friendship.

May you be blessed, may your home, land, harvest, and family be blessed on this Thanksgiving week!

  4. Gorgeous little mice!! I love getting little glimpses into other peoples’ lives when i read their blogs – and I’ve made lots of friends …. some still ‘virtual’, but others I’ve met now in ‘real life’ – including one when we were on holiday in Australia last year. perhaps we’ll get to meet one day!! Have a lovely Thanksgiving with your family.

We’re getting your cold weather tonight, but not the snow. It was 69 today and the high tomorrow is to be 41!! Brrr. Will light the fireplace before the gang arrives for our Thanksgiving Feast.
    Blessings to you, Linda
