Oh how I love to smell Jasmine…. I’m sure your house does smell wonderful…. We have a Confederate Jasmine in our yard –which looks very different from yours.

I got a lovely Jasmine plant last year – killed it shortly after it quit blooming – sigh. I don’t have my Mum’ s green thumb (mine is more brownish). It did smell lovely thought. I seem to be able however to grow the orchids and am doing “ok” with the succulents – go figure! 🙂 Isn’t it fabulous to have something green and blooming in the dead of winter?

Lovely! Every year a buy a big candle to burn over the holiday season. This year’s is called Christmas Cookie – and that’s just how the house smells when I light it!!

Batten down the hatches. We have a series of monster storms (so say the media folk) blasting through California from today until Christmas. If some make it across the Sierras, you may have a White Christmas. If all the moisture stays on my side of the sierras, we may be looking for an ark. Sigh, isn’t winter a trip?
