Good Morning Mr. Moon!

The moon was amazingly wonderful yesterday morning as I headed up to Paonia

The sun was just coming up casting pink and purple light on the blue shadows of the plateau.

I just have to share it with you.

My Orange Jasmine is just starting to bloom, which is lots of fun for me.  Three jasmines to help me through the winter blahs.

So far my ‘car guy’ hasn’t purchased any cars yet.  But when we talk he is very excited about the ones he has seen— says he has ‘lots of ideas’ for when he gets home.

I’m very ready for him to get home, seems like its been forever, although I know he is having fun.

  1. Hi Linda, I was going to ask if your sweetie was back home yet… The answer obviously is NO, not yet… I know you’ll be glad when he gets home…

Love your jasmine… What a pretty bloom….Does it smell good?

    Great picture of the moon…

I believe I noted on a car website from Scottsdale, Arizona that a farmer from near Delta, CO.,
purchased a Rolls-Royce Corniche V Convertible, I immediately thought of Terry Brown.
Maybe he wants to surprise you, so pretend you didn’t read this.
Have fun in your new car, you will certainly make a “splash” in Paonia!!!!
    Cheers

  4. It was gorgeous on this side of “the hill” also…driving to work I watched it set just a little to the north of Mount Meeker with the same soft pinks…this morning, Mount Meeker and Longs’ Peak were hidden by storm clouds, so didn’t get to see it all the way down.

  5. Nothing like green things growing to keep your spirits up. Especially when they smell wonderful.
Beautiful picture of the moon. One day, I’ll figure out how to capture its image. 🙂

  6. I am sure that picture does not do what that really looked like in person justice. Sorry to party crash your blog 😉 My name is Chel and I have been looking at land up around Moffat. My family was all farmers up to my grandfather who farmed when he was young and then became a boat maker, but kept a garden in his back yard that was the size of the whole backyard, hah!

I have always loved the earth. Just the smell of it and the way it all just makes sense. Its logical and fair. I know it sounds a little silly and naive, but I’d love to teach myself to farm. I was doing research when I found your blog 🙂 I know I will make mistakes along the way, but while some people aspire to be CEO’s, I aspire to go back to what its all about.

Thank you for sharing your life which makes me all the more sure its what I really want and need to do.
