We had very strange weather for this late in June….very cool, even cold. There was up to 6″ of snow in the mountains 10,000′ or higher. It’s been raining off and on for about two days. Bitter wind (again)!
Last evening the wind grew really strong and blew away all the clouds and the moisture.
As the storm was leaving….
I saw a rainbow framed within the cherry trees!

Oh, look at all those cherries!! A beautiful rainbow…beautiful picture!
Blessing!

Pretty much the same here. 38 this morning but we don’t have cherries. Some of the lilacs are just beginning to bloom. Others are done. I think it’s warming up for good now.

God smiles on you an awful lot! 🙂 I think you see more rainbows in a year than I have in the past 10. That is a beautiful picture.

I agree with CottonLady!
Also, any time you want to send that rain on down to Georgia, we’ll take it! Don’t care if you send it to N GA, the Coast or to the Okefenokee. All of Georgia needs it!

Looks like the cherries are ripening despite the unusually cold weather.
Can we please mix our weathers together and then share what we make?

Rainbows and ripening cherries! What more could a person want?
Except for some NORMAL weather…. How are the beans and corn taking this strange summer?

Cherry pie and homemade ice cream, made with snow from the mountains. We’re just now having some warm days in the Sacramento Valley, I doubt there will be sweet corn for the 4th of July. Maybe for Halloween.
