Wet Cat

Sammy got into some spray that the famer next door was spraying on his weeds

So I gave him a bath.

When cats or dogs get into spray the thing they want to do is lick thier fur.  They then get sick from the spray.

Sammy really didn’t mind the bath, but he didn’t think very much of me taking his picture when he wasn’t all pretty.

Better a wet cat than a sick cat, I told him.

  1. Poor kitty!! My skin would be shredded if I tried to give my cats a bath, but I sure would try if they got into any chemical spray. Sammy will be a really pretty kitty when he dries off.

  2. Sick critters are no fun. I’ve kinda caught up on your happenings, life gets so busy at times and then my blog life gets put aside. Looks like your summer is busy and family fun filled.

  3. Funny wet cat…I remember giving a kitten a bath when I was a kid…then crying because it looked sooo…awful. I want to try blowing bubbles for my Grand dog after seeing how much fun Fuzzy and Boomer had (o:

  4. I have similar pictures of our kitten during and after a bath after he decided to roll in the mag chloride that dripped off our car from a trip over the mountains to Crested Butte. Wet and dejected kitties are definitely better than sick and sad kitties.
