After my computer crash in December, my Microsoft program just didn’t act right. I took the computer back in to have it reloaded and re-checked out.
Days later I have it back.
(I had withdrawal pains. It was horrible)
Although, I had set up some posts in advance I couldn’t respond to any comments. I hope to get caught up today and tomorrow now that my third arm is back! 🙂
The weather has been strange…we went from this
to this
In one day. Mostly because it started to rain.
Mud season. Mud season in January, not February.
Then this blew in last night and is still here
A fuzzy photo because I used my cell phone
A very chill wind is also blowing. It’s the wind that is always the problem. The temperature might be a toasty 22*, but the wind can drop it right down to 12* in a second.
That is what we are experiencing…brrrrrr!
Anyway, I’m ever so glad my computer is back and I can stay in contact will all my friends!
Linda

How did you manage! I live in fear of losing the computer.. and MUST take it in for a check up but the thought of not having it is just too daunting. I quite like that fuzzy shot. Funny weather so far. however i am still waiting for the real winter, I think it is still on its way! c

Hi, We’ve had some of the same weather; the wind will blow away all our snow and the lawn shows. Then the wind is crazy cold; I walked today after the snow stopped and the chill brought the temp way down. Heading down to the Springs tomorrow and hope it is nice and warm-maybe 45? Have a great afternoon.

You weren’t kidding about the mud!! We are still covered in lots and lots of snow. Glad you got your computer back — I would go through withdrawals too!

Good news that your computer is back! I suffer withdrawal too when something keeps me away from mine. lol. Our weather has been much like yours, kinda strange.

Brrr…. we were at 30 this morning, it hasn’t risen one iota, and I didn’t like it!
But, like you, most of our snow has melted – but what is left is very icy. I have to walk a zig-zagging route to the barn so I don’t slip.
Stay warm!

I got 7″ of rain over the weekend. My pasture was about to be named “Marsh Lake”. Luckily it stopped raining yesterday and all the water has gone away. Now, I just have spongy, mushy ground that should dry up in time for the next rain!

BBrrrrrrr!
Question: In that first picture, a couple rows to the left of the quad-runner, is what looks like tracks of something. Something that is dragging a right foot or tail??? Maybe I’m just seeing things.

It seems that on the west side of the Rockies there’s been lots of wind this year. Alberta has had serious wind and we also had two major prairie fires.

Your weather sounds as changeable as Tennessee weather. Stay warm.

I’m glad your computer is home and doing well. I have trouble when there is a thunderstorm and I have to turn it off and unplug. We’ve had rain tonight, YEA for SW Oklahoma!! Love your photos.

Hi Linda, Glad you have your computer back… That is so hard I’m sure when it is gone… It’s like losing a special ‘friend’…. ha
Sorry about more snow in your area. I can certainly understand how you all can get tired of the snow. Wish you could send a little this way. We are having a very very mild winter…. I’d love to have at least one nice snow!!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

Very glad you got your computer back in good working order. I have kind of given up on catching up on all the blogs I read, but I keep trying. Love your Winter weather… we are back to early Spring. I’m still in hopes we will get a late Winter or at least some rain.

Great to have you back – withdrawal is ALWAYS painful.
I was wondering about that track in the snow too.

Snow–hate it when it stays; miss it when it won’t show up. Wind–only time it’s missed is when the air gets so stale we can see it. Looks like your beagle friend is enjoying the freedom of running without drifts.

Glad you are up and running again. I hope it is fixed for good now! Nothing worse than computer woes. The snow thaw mud cycle must be there:)
