Goose Paradise
The Geese are enjoying Confluence Lake, located in Confluence Park.
Of course you don’t want to walk on the grass, but they do seem to stay off the paths!
Dog walks are a blast for both dogs and goose alike.
Not so much humans!

But ya know what, those dogs will likely be where they see geese so it is good to get them conditioned to that.

I love hearing the geese as they fly overhead. They are a sight to see. I agree, it is great fun to see such a congregation of geese.. but not so much fun to walk in their territory!

Its pretty impressive sometimes when you see a flock land. We will see hundreds out in the corn fields at the end of the harvest season.

Only a few weeks ago we had thousands of geese flying over. So now I know where they are. We still have geese in any open water on rivers or below dams.

When we lived in Lancashire we used visit Fairhaven Lake. At times, especially when the Canada Geese visited, we didn’t so much as walk round the lake as tiptoe…messy!
