Life has been full lately!
First Terry and I went to our youngest granddaughter’s class play…she was the narrator of the ‘Three Little Pigs’
Then Shannon and I were the drivers of the ‘food’ for Tally’s field trip
After that it was our eldest daughter’s birthday
Which the grandchildren loved…They thought her cake had as much ‘fire’ as Grandpa’s!!! It didn’t but it sure lite up the room!
(Happy Birthday, Shannon!)
We had three days of rain, and rain, and more rain.
The little birds still came out and fed, mist, rain, or not.
Today the sun is shining, the sky is clear and blue and I must say my yard looks wonderful
It’s still to wet in the fields to get the pinto beans in the ground, but the corn is rowing up.
Life is good! I really can’t ask for more!
Hope this finds all of you in a good place in life!
Your friend on a Western Colorado Farm,
Linda

It sounds as if you had a perfect few days with family celebrating birthdays and school activities. It’s wonderful that some rain and beautiful flowers — not to mention a beautiful sky — were included. Life is good.

I note the person on the couch in the first picture is apparently on his Pad or Phone. It is a issue every where with families “not communicating with each other’.
I comment to tables in eating places where the entire “family’ have their nose in their device..
I LOVE THE Flowers and gardens..Great JOB

Looks beautiful there!!! Sad to hear about another major mudslide! How far is it from you? Hope all yours are safe and sound :o) When they said Grand Mesa I thought about you all up that way. The slide here is Washington is about 5 hours North of us. I have been not posting on blogger much lately since I started working again in Aug. I need to get back to it! Made lots of friends here!

What pretty spring weather and how fun to hear about your family activities too. Noticed the iris in your header shot right away; glad to see them here too.

I love your raised beds. Can’t convince the hubby of those yet.
Do you just use off the shelf humming bird feed or do you mix the sugar water yourself? Still trying to find feeders that look like yours. I’ve seen some similar though.
Have a wonderful Friday!
