Dance of the Veils— Monday, July 7, 2014

VeilsOur second daughter and third child, loves Middle Eastern Dance.  She has been doing this for years…I’m not sure how many years….maybe around 15-20 years.  I’d have to sit down and figure it out, but probably not going to.  🙂

She is the one closest to us in the red, with the royal blue veil.

Veils-2There!  That’s a better photo.

I was glad that Tally was with us…she loves music and sparkles and glitters and singing and dance.

We both (Tally and I) agreed that seeing the beautiful women dancing and twirling was really sparkly and fun!

Your friend,

Linda

  1. I have a feeling if I did that, my belly might be a little prettier than it is! My daughter would have loved it, too…so colorful and, as you say, sparkly. They love sparkles! Applause for your daughter. It’s great the she keeps on doing what gives her so much pleasure!

  2. It is always uplifting to explore other cultures…..especially their arts and culinary. I would have loved to see that performance. Treat for the eye.

  3. HI, Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We certainly did! We did have one crazy thing to happen… We have NEVER had to put up our Hummingbird Feeders at nights. BUT–this morning we saw the one in our front yard on the ground! Wooo–wonder what got into that one?????? Our fun with critters never ends! ha

That way of dancing is NEAT. Your daughter must be very talented. I love all of the colors… Glad you got to see her dancing!!

    Hugs,
