Linda I wanted you to know I found my grandmother’s and my grandfather’s grave in the Delta cemetery as well as Julia’s. I thought maybe someone would wonder about the flowers I left. We enjoyed visiting the area. Ann
I would have loved that! Ron and I plan on visiting the Grand Mesa and spend a little time there, so perhaps when we do I will let you know and we can meet for coffee. We travel to Frisco every year and stay a month, I guess it is in my genes but I always feel so at home in Colorado. After traveling all over we decided 12 years ago to just go to the place that makes us happiest. I also live on a farm, but it is leased for hay. We live between Houston and Austin and the farm has been in my husband’s family for over 150 years. I enjoy your connection to the land because I feel the same way about it. My father loved to sit and in his words “watch the grass grow” and I do the same thing!
