Drink in the Moon as though you might die of thirst.”–Sanober Khan
“The moon replenishes the earth; when she approaches it, she fills all bodies, while, when she recedes, she empties them.”–from Natural History by Pliny the Elder, first-century Roman naturalist
Although we are just about to turn the page into FEBRUARY (YAY!)
The January night sky was just stunning{ last night} and the moon this morning was delightful right next to a star!
The back of the moon backs up to a star with another one looking on!
Wonderful! Just WONDERFUL!!!
From my heart to your world,
Linda
Every phase of the moon has a beauty all its own.

As much as I enjoy living here, I do sort of miss what the sky looks like in other regions. We used to be able to get away from the glare of urban areas. Now, by the time we get away from the urban glow of one metropolis, we are near another. The prettiest sky I ever saw was on Route 66, just inside Texas from New Mexico. Even with the glow of the highway, it was much more clear than I had ever seen it before.

We are starting to see more and more lights here, as people move in and want city living.

hmmmm. I did not need to hear that. I happen to like living in town, and if I could afford to, I would do so. What I mean, is that I would go ‘there’ for that lifestyle. I would not want to be ‘here’ and expect what I would have ‘there’. Okay, I will not rant here.
