Pure and Wonderful Delight—-Sunday, March 3, 2019

We had rain…I tried to get a photo of it last night, rain is rather hard to photograph in the dark…

Just say’n.

But still, I had fun trying.

Yesterday our oldest daughter saw a marvelous rainbow on her way to work

So, because I love rainbows…she sent a photo to me!

Even though we are so terribly wet, and the days are dark and dreary Boomer’s and my little walkabouts are showing that Spring is starting to arrive

And this morning after a night of hard rain

I see GREEN starting to appear!

YAY!
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,

Linda

  1. Interesting topography – from the look of the land, rain is badly needed in your neck of the woods.
We certainly need heaps of rain in Victoria where the now virtually annual bush fires
have taken over. It is so sad to see the devastation, one house was actually shown this morning
exploding as if hit by bombs. Frightening.

It is funny with the word bushfires – here we write it as I have, but the spell correct business, puts it as two words – BUSH FIRES!

    Great looking rainbow.

    • We are so wet that the farmers are three weeks behind and there is still snow in places. Where the rainbow was is called the Stinking Desert, it looks like there isn’t life there but there is. Also, the American Pronghorn calls it home. I hope you get rain soon.

  2. Wow….Linda I love seeing those buds on your trees and bushes and the little bits of green peeking thru the cracks in the sidewalk. If Spring arrives at your place…it might eventually work it’s way east and north! One can only hope!
