This is Tonto.
Tonto is beautiful….terrifyingly so
If you are anywhere around him you MUST keep out a sharp eye (just like he is keeping on you) for like all roosters…he wants to come at you from behind.
I prefer Tonto running away, diminishing in size as he gets further away from me.
Tonto lives with our daughter and the whole flock of hens.Β Since the demise of Grace (the fox got her)
Shannon wanted another farmyard protector.
Therefore, she nows as TONTO!
HI HO SILVER! AWAY!
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
Go Tonto!

I’m afraid that is exactly what he does. π

It looks as if Tonto will do a great job protecting the farmyard.

Yes…although, he needs to learn that I am NOT the enemy! π

We once had a rooster that was so vicious that I had to go into the chicken yard with a leaf rake to fend him off. It was a happy day when he keeled over. Good luck with Tonto.

I had one of those also. He made good stew.

I know all about roosters! Iβve had about three that turned nasty. I learnt quickly, you donβt run your back on them. I could never understand though, why they would want to attack their housekeeper! How rude! Tonto sure is a looker
