The moon is growing smaller each and every day now.Β Shrinking from a great swollen ball hazed by a shimmer causing it to look gold as it rises into the sky.
There (as luck would have it) were the Sandhill Cranes etched sharply in the newly minted silver of the moon.
What a gift!
What a marvelous gift…the moon and the Sandhill cranes.

Excellent pix, Momma! The Crane/Moon shot looks like it belongs on a Farmer’s Almanac site/magazine or an Astrology site or timeanddate.com

Linda, these photos are magnificent. How is the water for farming this year? Will you have enough? How was the water last year? Hope you can plant crops. Farming is so important. Love Ethel.

Such great pictures, Linda! Love that you captured the Sandhill Cranes with the moon!
At least 74% of the farmers here have planted some kind of cover crop to help hold down the blowing sand, so not very much plowing etc. going on here yet. Weβre praying for some rain soon so they donβt have to preplant irrigate later this month. The March winds have started!! 35 to 45 mph tomorrow and Friday! Ugh.
Blessings, my friend!
