Sometimes I forget that—-so caught up in work, and routine, and ‘getting stuff done’

A resounding flapping of wings all through the night.
Although, one we can not truly hear or see
All the creatures large and tiny humming along
in preparation for (shudder) winter.
The sky’s colors are changing, the light different clearer, brighter
The shadows spread and dance, instead of laying heavy on the ground.
All around us is a frenzy of preparation–

Beautiful photos, even those bee shots! Things seems to be moving quickly into fall. I ordered daffodils that should arrive this week. But fall is my favorite! Always something to do ~
