I had to divert my irrigation ditch back into the creek because it was flooding everything. We have an incredible amount of water and can hear Lightner Creek roaring from the house.

The barn swallows are back here, but I’m not seeing a nest in our barn yet. They all want to go live at our neighbor’s barn – I think because her ceilings are more desirable. Sadly she doesn’t want them and won’t let them build there. I wish I could talk them into just moving in here :-/.
