The wind is terrible here—
Has been for days and days and days
Wind– like this wind from last year!
And the heat is hard and miserable (although, Mom rather likes it—Mom is silly)
So, Boo and I are staying inside. Where it’s NOT windy!

No, it’s going up the canyon. Fires are so bad. I wish they could get the fires out in Canada…we need the trees to live

Yes. The fires are pretty scary, even when they are really far away. And for us asthmatics, it’s detrimental.

You kids are smart to stay in and away from the windy days. Inside is our favorite place. Today, the wildfire smoke from Canada came back. I sneezed a lot. Mom’s eyes teared and her throat got scratchy. My walks were SHORT!
