Off we went with Brett and Mariann on a wee trip
Over Owl Creek Pass heading into the SawTooth Mountain Range
It was a perfect day
Full of warmth, color, good friends, and
Stunning tunnels of gold.
We traveled to the Silver Jack Reservoir
Then onto Sero Summit
Our eyes full of colors
And wonderful smells for the doggie’s noses. (Boo Berry went, and their two dogs, Abbie and Shelby)
What a marvelous day for all
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,

The windshield was a mess, but the dust was too awful to hang my head out.

That is what it looks like at our farm. Love this time of year but we’re getting frost at night. Might need to put a heater in the greenhouse.

We’ve had a long fall—which has been so lovely and wonderful. But they are saying a winter storm is coming in Sunday to sweep all our warm temperatures away.

I hope it didn’t arrive! We had torrential rain all weekend, my poor little baby conifer trees nearly drowned in their pots! I rescued them when I got home from work but the rain caught me out again today when it arrived back hours earlier than the forecast said! Out warm temperatures are already long gone!

Yes, nasty winter arrived. Left us with much colder temperatures, but I can live with that. Because the snow melted!!! YAY
