Seems like there is always a fence to repair
This one was at the Upper End by the drain ditch.
Fixed! Several spans of it. From the gate to that tree you see.
All repaired and ready for the cows when they come.
No, the cows won’t be here until after the corn is harvested. Several more weeks yet.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda

Lulu: “Ahhh, so this is the answer to that old saying about ‘When the cows come home’ …”
Java Bean: “Ayyy, we wish our neighbors a few doors up would do some work on their fence! Their dogs are constantly getting loose and running around on the hill, and then we have to tell them off!”

I agree. I am pushing 60 and I dread a lot of things. Then, I look at Ken @ 80, trying to heal from his hip fracture. Makes me feel tired.

Constant work I should think, maintaining fences and such like 🙂

T’is…it doesn’t help when the ditch company or others tear them down. 😦

🤨 How stupid! You could certainly live without those complications!

Yes, but other people (now a days) just don’t seem to care about ‘other’ people’s property. They will even cut the fences if they want to go hunting on the back 40 or at the Upper End. So sad really

I think it’s the same everywhere 😕 They don’t care until its their property then it’s different 🤨

You two are always busy … I’m going to walk our fence line today! Our neighbour has cattle who can be a bit rough on the fence
