Around the Corner We Go— Tuesday, January 14, 2025

Thankfully I am making excellent progress in the twenty days of pain and sickness.  I can carry a few logs, walk carefully, and actually see results when I look at my ankle, foot, and leg.  YAY!

Today is a masterpiece!  Today I turn 76 and the illness didn’t crush me!

  1. Chaplin: “We’re behind on reading again, but we’re glad to hear that you’re feeling better almost before we heard you weren’t feeling well!”
Charlee: “We wanted to thank you for the Christmas toys! They arrived yesterday and we were all playing with them, especially Lulu! We think she thinks the orange toy is some kind of artificial gopher, the way she was picking it up and tossing it around.”
Lulu: “It was a lot of fun! And the nice thing is, I won’t eat it and then throw it up later like I do with real gophers!”

    • They really don’t know. I got an infection in my right leg causing pain and swelling and PAIN, the medication gave me gout
which I will have to battle the rest of my life but I will watch my food intake so that will help. I couldn’t walk at all for a while, then
had to use a cane, now I’m better. Thank you for your birthday wishes. Hugs

  2. Happy Birthday!!!

I’m so glad things are better for you. Sick and hurting are no fun and can be very difficult as we get older. I’d say that you come from good tough people and clean living.

    All the best.
