A person gets to see some rather neat things when out and about on the farm

Java Bean: “Ayyy, we had a really big toad in our backyard the other day! I was trying to investigate it, but Dada made me stop, and when I went back out later it was gone. Very sad. I was hoping it might turn into a princess if I booped it.”
Charlee: “Speaking as a princess, we don’t like being booped by dog noses.”
Java Bean: “Some of them might!”

I was driving home from town yesterday and noticed a tiny frog hanging on my door jam by the windshield (!). He had to have ridden all the way to town from the farm I think. I pulled over really quickly and tried to catch him, but he jumped onto the ground so I made sure he got safely into the trees. He’ll have a good story to tell :-o.
