A long streak of sunlight, called a Sun Dog. It filled the snow-filled eastern clouds as the sun started its extremely fast jaunt across the storm-tossed sky!
I keep telling myself —- it is winter. And it IS January, be patient. Just enjoy the bitter cold days and nights. Summer will come—it always does.

Beautiful sundog! You guys have the best skys in the state! Yes, winter has arrived – although a tad late. We rec’d a good 10″ Fri & I am sore from shoveling. Have a wonderful week!
