I’ve stopped watching the news — all the news. I can’t fix the world. The miserable, dull angry world.
Yes, I’m old — sometimes people think old age is the death of dreams
But instinct tells me different!
Instinct is the voice of God(s)
Within the voice I hear my soul —it’s restless, although my body says no.
This I know —– Who you were as a child/teenager/adult never dies. Your dreams, your energy, your excitement are still there. You just need to adapt to your different old body.
Remember, your instinct is the whisper of God.
Go forth and do things—-as much as you possibly can.

I too have stopped watching or listening to the news as it’s just either depressing or disgusting. I appreciate the peace not hearing about all the insanity has brought.

Thanks for a profoundly perfect post. I think we just need to cut out all the the noise around us and listen to what God — through our instinct — is telling us.
