The Dense Vibrant Colors Shiver and Wave in the Wind — Monday, November 1, 2021

Everywhere  the color of Autumn wraps around us

The yellow, gold, and orange leaves rustle in the wind

The boughs swaying and creaking gently against each other

Murmuring whispers of Good Night, Sweet Dreams

The Owls hoot sleepily as they wake in the treetops,

Love You, Precious Ones…it’s time for rest now.

I Am Stunned and so Ever lastingly Grateful—-Sunday, October 31, 2021

The Fex Ex truck rolled down our long long lane bringing to me a box all the way from the East Coast, the Southern part of the East Coast.

A military-style jacket, a woolen scarf, a pearl necklace, and a sweet wonderful card.

And the jacket Fits!  This is another surprise because Vic has never met me, nor did she ask me what size I wear.

I am humbly Thankful and ever so grateful for such a loving and generous gift.

From my heart to your world,

Linda

Life at Ten Months Old—Chapter Four, Dad and I, Friday, October 29, 2021

Sometimes it’s rather boring outside.

I try to check everything out

But

Sometimes there is nothing to see

Do

Or chase

Then DAD comes!

YAY!

Just for Fun, Hawk Memories — Thursday, October 28, 2021

Here are some of my past hawk photos

There are two hawks here, see the split tail, the same as the one in the above photo

Here is one landing

Now taking off

Trying to get high in the sky because I was there

And my favorite!

My world to your heart,

Linda

It Rained and the Wind Blew — Wednesday, October 27, 2021

But, back before the wet and blustery weather rolled in

I went for a ride-about

I wanted to get a good photo of the hawk(s) who live on our land

Sigh!

I guess I didn’t make it.

There is One Thing I’ve Learned For Sure in My Long Life —- Tuesday, October 26, 2021

Horses always get out.

And once out, they love the game of “Catch the Horsey” much more than you do.

Dusk Coming Faster and Faster — Monday, October 25, 2021

Gone is the time when the days of Summer seem endless

The dark of the night is coming swifter and faster and lasting longer and longer

Still, the days offer amazing delights —sweet little eye-candy treats

The heartbeat of our bird friends on the farm, gifting us with bits and pieces of their lives.

From my world to your heart,

As the Breeze Whispered through the Corn —- Sunday, October 24, 2021

Terry went out to check the drying down corn

Just to get an idea where the moisture content is

19%  it has to dry more…down to 14% or lower.

We continue to wait.

Life at Ten Months Old—Chapter Three, I Have Found Stuff to Do, Friday with TLC Cai-Cai, October 22, 2021

I have had to figure out How to be outside.  Mostly because I am still learning ‘stuff.’

This Spring and Summer were wonderful, I enjoyed (I still do, but it’s not the same soft stuff I used to enjoy) the lawn!

And catching birds, which I couldn’t let Mom see because she would take them away from me.

Chasing weeds, and now leaves are a huge part of FUN.

I chased grasshoppers and all sorts of bugs—which seem to be gone now.

And Mice.  I can still chase and kill and NOW EAT mice.

But my latest is catching————-RUN! THAT IS A COYOTE!!

SNAKES!!!

They are so incredibly swirly, twisty, and weird that I LOVE Finding Them.

I bring them to the house so Mom or Dad can see what I found.

SNAKE!!!

Rain Smudged Our World — Thursday, October 21, 2021

Over night the rain came

Bringing with it much cooler weather

And softened lovely earth, that dried very quickly.
