A Message from One Heart to Another Loved Heart — Monday, May 30, 2022

When I opened my email I read:

“I got another present for you today!

I never recall seeing one this low.

Maybe it’s my dad saying hello? He passed away this past Saturday. He was 86, a good man, and lived a great life, raising 10 kids with my saint of a mother, who is 86 and still going strong.

Dad was a big train enthusiast, both a real and a model collector. Right next to the side yard of his childhood home was a Frisco line.

In 1948, he saw and waved to and got a wave back from Harry Truman as he went by the house during his whistle-stop campaign.

After Mass yesterday, as the pallbearers were loading Dad’s casket into the hearse, a train horn went off.

I stated “You know how people say you often get a sign?  Well, I think we just heard it.”

We all just started smiling and some laughing.

We all know there are no heavily traveled lines nearby within earshot. But there is a very, very, VERY seldom-used line about a mile away.  In short, it’s almost NEVER used. Ever since I was a kid.

The timing couldn’t have been more perfect.

“All is and shall be well.”  That is my definite conclusion.

I just thought you might be interested in that.

Hope all is well!

It is here, even under the circumstances.”

Yes, Yes I do think it is your Dad saying Hello—All is well, and I am still with you.

My heart is so sorry for your loss…as well as your Mom and all your siblings.  Losing a parent is never, ever easy.

Thank you for sharing your Dad’s wonderful signs with us.

From my heart to your world– As Always,

Linda
