I See the Moon, the Moon Sees Me—Monday, January 25, 2016

As the sun faded, the shadows started growing long and dark under the mighty trees growing in the Black Forrest of Colorado.

Stepping outside to hear the hoot owls calling to one another high in the pine trees, my long time reader and friend, Elaine, watched as the night caused solid objects to loose their depth.  Gradually everything slowly brighten, with a sheen of silver, as the moon light  rose over the tops of the majestic pines—- lighting her world in the magic of the moon’s glow.

ElaineThankfully she took a photo and sent it to me, with permission, so I could share it with you.

How lucky we are.  Thank you, Elaine!

Your friend,

Linda

Good Morning Mr. Moon!

The moon was amazingly wonderful yesterday morning as I headed up to Paonia

The sun was just coming up casting pink and purple light on the blue shadows of the plateau.

I just have to share it with you.

My Orange Jasmine is just starting to bloom, which is lots of fun for me.  Three jasmines to help me through the winter blahs.

So far my ‘car guy’ hasn’t purchased any cars yet.  But when we talk he is very excited about the ones he has seen— says he has ‘lots of ideas’ for when he gets home.

I’m very ready for him to get home, seems like its been forever, although I know he is having fun.
