I climbed to the top of the woodpile…(down there on the end where there are four logs stacked on each other)—I needed to get above the neighbor’s corn field to see the eastern sky, you see.
Then There it was! That most stunning Super Moon!
I stayed up on the wood pile— balancing carefully, while Boomer sat below whining, with Min-Min Cat winding her way up the very tall pile to be close to me.
It rose quickly showering the earth, with its silver glow, edged in pink from the setting sun.
Still lucky me— I got to see this wonderful, and unusually close to the earth moon setting in the western sky.
