Western Colorado Pinto Bean Harvest (Yummy Red Beans)

When I got home from work Terry was just going down the field for the second time.

The combine picks up three rows at a time, just right for our needs. (watching in my contribution.  Sometimes I have to do something, but it is never anything ‘really big’.)  I know there are those out there with REALLY BIG heads, but this one works for Terry.

The bean straw left behind is the favorite food of the cows once we turn them into the field.

The Beans are Pushing Thier Way Through the Soil

Beans push the seed cap through the soil and then open up, while corn splits the seed and pushes up the stalk.
