There was then—-the grass was green, we had leaves on the trees

Out I would go early in the morning to spend the whole day outside

Now—the grass is dry, the leaves are gone and it’s been cold baby–so cold I had trouble staying outside

Still out I go with Mom and Boo Berry each and every morning

For after all there are things to do—MOUSE!

Stuff to play with —-LEAF

Smells to smell—ugh! Stray cat!

Cold or not—

hot or not

There are things I need/must do

Until it is time

To go inside!
