Whats for Supper?

After working outside, putting the lavender to bed

Raking leaves, and cleaning up the weeds, it’s nice to come in to a large pot of Brown’s Pinto Beans. Chili on a chilly day.  Yummm!

Even the Praying Mantis has covered up for the winter.

  1. Love the walk to the mail box. As far as Willow Witch goes, if you go back a little in my blog I dub myself this name due to my relationship with the mother-in-law up the road about 1/4 a mile and the fact our home is tucked in the willows. 🙂 see ya!

  2. Your grandkids have such cool names. Sounds like you guys had a great time with yours. Funny how we did such different things, but the same really…time! Just spending time not money. Do praying mantis survive the winter? (o:

  3. Yum!! Your chili looks like it is going to be a feast to remember. The perfect thing for these colder days. I loved your lavender beds even if they are tucked in for the winter. I can’t wait to see them in bloom next year.
