Where we are going to pick up the combine, the canal still has enough water for the ducks to swim and play. But it won’t be long now that the canals in all of Grand Junction, Clifton, Fruita, and Loma will stand dry, waiting for the dams to open next spring.

And when I go to work and when I come home from work I always meet AT LEAST one of these!

Very beautiful pictures.

Hi there, What a sweet site-especially the doe. Love seeing the wildlife here in CO. even if we get a lot of geese droppings.
Have a joyous weekend. Hugs.

Your Colorado Scenery Pictures are Excellent!
Yes…….we have mucho deer here in PA also!
Actually there are still a lot of fields of corn not yet harvested….so the deer and other animals have it pretty good for food.
I have Red Bud Trees and 2 apple trees in my backyard.
The deer love to eat that too! Some times in the wee dark hours of the morning on my traipse to the bathroom I can get a climpse of them scampering about when the sky is light<—–truly a heavenly sight!
But too many deer and so many accidents. Even though we are almost done with antlerted deer season, there are still lots to hunt and fill freezers!

It’s so beautiful there. I’d love to visit. Our deer disappeared for hunting season but that ended yesterday so I’m sure they will return. I miss seeing them. Your photos are lovely.
