Happy Birthday to Me-And the Mud is Coming Back

red-winter-sun

60 Years Old!

Boy is that hard to believe.  I can remember thinking my grandparents were old and they were in their 50’s at the time.

Today I am 60, now that I am here I can say I don’t feel old, every day is a new day full of hope and wonder.  I am blessed and grateful to live 60 years on the face of this earth. I have a wonderful family, great friends, new and old,  and even amazing enemies, who have helped me grow and expand more than I would have ever thought I could when I was 30.

I have wrinkles and age spots and grey in my hair, but I have earned them all!

And if I weren’t so afraid had more courage I would post my today photo…but, maybe when I’m 70, older.

For now, Thank you each and every one for helping me celebrate this Happy to be 60 Birthday!

  1. Oh, a big, big Happy Birthday to You!!!!
Sixty isn’t old. In fact, these “older” years are truly wonderful and way better than being a youngster. I’m with you. I love my gray hair and wrinkles because we earned them.
Don’t make us wait until you’re 70 to post your photo.
By the way, the pictures are absolutely gorgeous.
Hope someone is making you the birthday cake of your dreams.

  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLFRIEND Hope it is a great one. Love all the positive things you said about getting older. When people complain about it, I always say it sure beats the alternative. Will you celebrate tonight? I always plan my own Birthday activity so I won’t be disappointed in the end. Hubby is a great man….but he just doesn’t have it in him to know how to celebrate. Have fun!

  6. So our buns aren’t as tight
And our breasts aren’t as perky,
And the skin on our chins
Makes us look like a turkey…
What was flat is now round.
There’s no need to be modest!
    We’ve matured from “young girl”

    Into “middle aged GODDESS!”

    Happy Birthday

    We’re not getting old-just better!
