Finally We are Warm

It warmed up to 48* for two days in a row

And it’s acting like we might hit 49 or 50* today.

I’ll take the mud…

One of the nice things about this melt is we are NOT having wind.  Although, the wind does make pretty patterns in the left over snow.

It also shows just how much wind we have been getting.

Of course now I won’t have as clear a picture of what goes on out there (rabbit and bird tracks)

Another storm is suppose to come in Wednesday (with wind)

Bunny rabbit hopping over the bird tracks.

For now I’ll take this break and enjoy it.  February has been just way too long.

  2. We had a warm amazing day yesterday…even if it did start with a wind that was blowing down tress and everything not tied down (or snow shovel). It ended being in the high 60’s.

  3. I thought of you today when the temp reached 70F. No snow here or is there any predicted so I just had to accept the beautiful sunny day and spend it outside getting chores done. I dread the heat and humidity that is right around the corner though. Have a wonderful evening and glad you are having some nice temps. (at least for now)

  4. Oh Linda we too had a temperature of fifty degrees today…. I swear I could smell spring in the air. The warm temperature is not to last…. dipping in the low teens this evening…. just a tease. Hope you are well, stay warm my friend.

  5. Beautiful photos. Love the animal tracks. I’m glad you feel warm but I sure wouldn’t at 8 -10C. That is colder than our winters. Funny world, funny people. Just as well we are all different or else the world would be boring.

  6. We’re expecting a week of 60-70s. Blustery on Thursday, but I’ll take it gladly. My chickens will enjoy being able to go outside for so many days in a row!
