We have gone from cold to miserable hot, with the forever wind, to today full of cold nasty wind and spitting rain. But Saturday, while I was planting, a delightful little butterfly sat on the hose and got a drink of water.
I felt really special.

What a great photo.
Our temperature got up to 90 on Friday and I turned on the AC for the first time.
Sunday the morning house temperature got down to 62. Back to heat.

When I was little, there were these small light blue butterflies that came to our garden – I loved them so much. They were “friendly” and would flutter around as my Grandma or Aunt and I gardened. I very rarely see them now but when I do… like you, I feel *special*.
Today, off and on, we are having snow !!

We have been getting lots of rain and now no rain for the next four days and up in the 70’s and high 70’s by the weekend. I was able to get our pond area up and running over the weekend and it is nice to see the sun. I don’t think I would like it going from freezing to hotter than blue blazes that is for sure.

Love it when we are blessed by the visit of things like butterflies and rainbows.
We have plenty of rain here. Too much. Farmers are stomping around the feed store wishing they were out planting spuds. Little League games are canceled and I didn’t get my radishes and carrots planted. Arrgh! But everything is greening nicely and the trees have leaves. The ducks are laughing.
