Sunday Stills–Looking High and Low

The Sunday Stills challenge this week is Looking High and Low.

So I chose my lilacs. They are just wonderful this year

I only have three bushes. I was afraid they were going to not bloom because of all the freezes and the very cold weather

I’m so very glad they made it through!

My yard smells just wonderful!

Very nice — can almost smell them from here. Rochester’s Lilac Festival is in full swing — too bad the weather won’t cooperate.

I think Lilacs are one of my favorites…..so rich in size, color and especially the smell!

Very pretty Linda! I planted one out at the end of my clothes line last year. We used to have one out in the side of the house but it wasn’t doing good and we had to remove it.

I moved too far south to grow them over 20 years ago. Haven’t been back north during the springtime to smell them again.

They are beautiful. Lilacs are one of my favorites, along with Peonies, as my grandmother had both. Hubby trimmed my Lilacs last year, and they just weren’t think this year.
