The first is from John and Cindy North….I do not think I have ever seen
How amazingly cool is that!
Then Sara from Kentucky sent me THIS
A cool rainbow spanning one whole side of her farm!
Then Tom sent me over a photo a friend of his took here in Colorado. They live in Steamboat Springs, and are great friends of Tom. Tom as since moved to the lower part of our state. Tom’s friend Erin is took this with her cell phone.
A double rainbow spanning the complete mountain town of Steamboat Springs.

Hi Linda, I think our state really needs these rainbows as encouragement! They are simply beautiful-I’ve seen two at one time but oh my four. Glorious!

Great photos!
I always wonder when rainbows seem to make reflections of themselves.
No one can ever have enough rainbows though, I agree! :o)

Yep like Betsy, a double WOW!
I have never seen 4 at once, I think 2 has been the max. here and other places I have seen rainbows. I am by no means an authority on rainbows, as a matter of fact I don’t know anything, but I remember being told by a much older person than I, way back, that the second or secondary rainbow is a mirror version of the first. I suppose that means a reflection of the premier rainbow?? Maybe a rainbow authority can clarify this???? And by just looking at that magnificent premier rainbow which is on the top photo, then maybe this “theory” is plausible???
Great photos Linda

Weather report. 7.00am Monday 23rd July.
No rainbows! But a clear moring sky so should be fine and sunny. But most afternoons,
those bloody clouds reappear! Some rain overnight!

When Cindy got that one I had to share it and Y’know Linda, I had to send it to you- knowing your love of rainbows. Every time I see one I think of God’s promise to Noah that the rainbow brings- that He’d never destroy the earth this way again and that seedtime and harvest would never fail as long as the earth remains. ( Genesis 8)
Thanks for sharing the pics as they were all enjoyable.

Pretty interesting rainbow shots! I really like the last one where it’s so bright as the sun is shining where the picture is being taken.

I find the first one interesting. Seems to me there may have two to four small pockets of rain very close together that created this.
