Rain and Rainbows!

Although, we are doing pinto beans, we keep having little storms pop-up.  So far the rain hasn’t stayed or pushed the beans into the mud.

(Which would be horrible, you can’t get the beans out of the mud so the crop is lost.)

But we have been blessed and only received the the gift of the rain.

  1. I thought of you this morning, I cooked a pot of pinto beans with ham, made potato salad and corn bread. Every time I cook beans it makes me think of all the work a farmer does to get them to my table. I wish people would stop and just thank the farmers for the hard work that goes into feeding the country. Thank you and all the people growing food for us.

  2. Well this is a new one for me! CANNAS growing in Colorado???? I thought that they only grew
    in tropical or sub-tropical regions.
I thought I was seeing things, until a viewer named them!
You could almost watch them grow as soon as you planted them in Papua New Guinea. They
    need plenty of moisture.
Hope the rain which is obviously needed is not heavy and you lose your pinto crop.
    Good luck.
    Cheers
