We are slowly making headway. If the weather holds and nothing breaks down we will make it by the end of next week.
Although, we did have a flat tire yesterday, it was on the big truck. $100 later and we are back on the road. That is so much better than one of the combine tires…think $500 or better.
Here are my trees for the fall
We are losing leaves every day now. Soon I have to get out there and rake the lawn!
Happy Halloween everyone!
Linda
Keep up the good work…. Hope the weather holds up for you so that you can finish..
Our leaves are really coming down also….. Today is the first sunny day we have had in several days…. But it’s still cold and windy… Not sure I’ll work on the leaves today!!! We do also have Pansies to plant.
Hugs,
Betsy

Glad the harvest is continuing! Some of my trees are already bare and some are still green! Fall comes tree by tree. 🙂

Hi Linda, our foliage is just a memory thanks to hurricane Sandy…Hope you get the harvest in on time. Last year we had snow, today, one year later, temperatures in the high sixties! Happy Halloween, hope you are spending it with the grandchildren. Greetings, Julie.

Hope everything goes well it means so much to be finished. My family finished harvest without a drop of rain. It takes them about 6 weeks…canola, wheat, barley and silage which is done in July.
All my leaves are under the snow.

The trees are lovely LInda… I love that untidy look of autumn with the leaves blowing around on the grass!

We lost most of our leaves in one fell swoop – out limited Sandy effects,

Hasn’t this just been a weird season for leaves. We had hardly any color and there are actually still leaves on some of the trees. I always worry about that. $100 for a tire – you are LUCKY! I just re-shod both vehicles – to the tune of $1500! yeah – ick!

We’ve been raking and cleaning up leaves for over a week, and unfortunately they are still coming down. It’s almost hard to believe how early it is getting dark now.
