Well, now he is our bird…what a character he is.
Tommy had to come live with us, because he kept getting on the road. Shannon didn’t want ‘smashed Tom’.
He is the sweetest Tom…loves people, you can pick him and rock him to sleep (huge for a lap, but he does love it) and he will follow you around everywhere… strutting and showing off.
Tom, the Royal Palm Turkey!
Thanks for stopping by,
Linda

What a beauty… Glad Tommy is living with you instead of being road-kill!!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

Tom obviously knows a good home when he sees one. He won’t end up being Thanksgiving dinner, will he?

I’ve never been around toms but I have some ganders and roosters that were onery critters to put it mildly. Do toms ever get that way?

Well now that’s a puzzlement, isn’t it: why did the turkey cross the road? Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. He is a magnificent bird.

What a lovely bird. Maybe they should have been made our national bird like Ben Franklin wanted.

That is one gorgeous turkey! Can’t wait to hear what Boomer and Fuzzy have to say about him tomorrow. I can’t –quite — picture this guy as a lap-turkey, but I will take your word for it.

What a handsome Tom!!! Glad he’s safely with you….what does your puppy-dogs think of him? I think my Lucky would be afraid of him, he’s so large.
Blessings!

If I was on a walk with my mama and saw him I think I would have to stop and have a closer look. I don’t usually do that but for that bird I would. Pigeons and Morning Doves are just not that stately.

And he’s all decked out in patriotic red, white and blue. Never thought of a turkey as something to cuddle. Have to rethink that one. 😀
