We are still having hot windy days.  No rain in site here…it’s gathering forces and waiting for the second cutting of hay…. 🙂 …just saying.

Smoke-in-the-canyons

Some days smoke fills the air coming from some horrid forest fire somewhere, then the wind starts and moves it out.

We have wind gusts up to 30 m.ph. hour in the afternoons and early evenings.

But if you get in this little convertible

Corvette-Drive

and take a little ride…the sun feels good on your head and the wind feels lovely in your hair.

Summer….who could ask for more?

  1. HI LINDA and family!!! I consider you my extended family and would take some of your HOT and some of your SUN. NE Minnesota is deluged with water…so let us pray for balance in our weather. I will send you some rain…and you send me some sun!!!! I have Fuzzy and Boomer as my screensaver and it will take a good one to replace them!! I just love those dogs.

I have some things I am gathering for your fairy houses if you would send me your address so I can send them to your grandaughter when I get them together. Thank you….and thanks for being family. —–what kind of dog do you feel that Fuzzy is??? Is he good with CATS????I would love a dog like that if I can find it.. Hugs….Merri

  2. It’s hot and windy here, too. Just have those heat triggered thunderstorms coming thru in the late afternoons and dropping .1″ to .25″ of rain. It is welcome but the farmers are trying to replant and it’s making it difficult to get in the field to do that. For the first time in a long time, I will have no cotton in my fields!! Will have corn and sunflowers this year and hopefully the rains will keep coming. We’re praying this drought will end!!!

Hope the fires get under control real soon and you all get some much needed rain…BEFORE the hay is down!! Enjoy the convertible rides!

    Blessings!

  3. Good luck with you hay! We have temps in the 90’s all this week they say but potential for ugly hail filled afternoons

Hope your situations changes for the better soon and not flooding rains when they do finally blow through 😦

Yes convertibles are nice in SUMMER 🙂
