  1. I loved the picture of your ruffus hummingbird. I live in southeastern ohio along the Ohio River and I have a feeder hanging off my front porch. I have ruby throated hummers and the grey hummers that is all we see here. I have five or six at a time eating at mine. They eat about a quart a day. I love watching them. I love your blog. I have a cousin who lives in Broomfield, CO and a grandson who is moving in august to Boulder. I hope I can come visit your state some of these days. keep writing I seem to have made a new friend in you. Dixie

PS I truly have some blog friends who put as many as 25 – 50 photos in one post… I put ALOT –but many people put many more than I do –or many, many more than you do. SO–not to worry!

  4. You are so lucky to, first have all of those lovely hummers and secondly, to be able to have feeders out. Dratted bears keep getting into my feeders, so I have to be happy watching for blue jays and pileated woodpeckers.
