Today is my little brother’s birthday. Of course he isn’t my ‘little’ brother anymore, standing way taller than I do. 🙂

He looks rather startled by the flash, don’t you think.

There are only the two of us…he and I.

Have been nostalgic this birthday. Missing Mom, Dad, and all the relatives. Started scanning things from them – like birthday cards and the like. Pretty tough, sad. Feel guilty that I wasn’t around much after high school…very self-centered. Thought they would be with us forever.

I have a very vague memory of that swing with the two posts. Dad always did things solid, didn’t he?

He then pulled those out and expanded the yard. Do you recall having any swings after that?

Hey, Linda, what happened to your blonde hair ? You two are so cute and I truly love old pictures. They all have a story to tell. So happy birthday, Dan, wherever you are. I have one brother (younger) and one older sister in Oregon. I love them dearly and we are closer now than ever before now that our parents are gone. Old pics bring old memories….so heart warming.
