Computer Problems Continue– April 8, 2014

I am so upset I could just cry.   I am still having trouble with my computer.  The computer lady assures me it wasn’t a virus…just so you know.   It was a download from Microsoft….everything has been corrupted.  The only thing I have (right now) is the internet…of course.

Please stay with me.  I hope this gets resolved soon!

  1. Ack…computers can be such a pain sometimes. Someone else had a bad update and had to have their computer wiped clean. Another fellow had Windows 8 and couldn’t post photos or anything so he reverted back to Windows 7. I Hope you get the problem solved soon. Sending good vibes your way.


  2. Yesterday my desktop wouldn’t log on with my settings and my laptop (that I bought only if the DT was having problems) was in a snit because I had neglected it for weeks and I needed 17 updates. I’m not sure what I did, but today both are working. I am a sad case with no computer so I can relate. My beloved Windows XP of the DT is no longer being supported and I really don’t like Windows 8 of the LT, so I am concerned for the future.


  3. I know how you feel. Happened to me, too a few years back. Amazing how lost we are nowadays without our computers. Hope you get things fixed soon.


  4. I dread anything happening to my computer, so I fully empathise with you. I do hope that you can find the problem quickly. Technology is wonderful … while it works!


  5. Waaaa…I’m crying with you. There is nothing more frustrating than dealing with updates… and the havoc they wreck. Ugh!
    On another subject – we are slowly making our way home and will be going through Grand Junction in a week or two! It will be great to be back in Colorado after 4 months!

    I say dump the PC and get and Apple. I love mine!
    I’m sorry you’re having troubles, it hard to sit still while something is broken—especially when y’all are used to fixing things yourselves.


  11. That’s what my last problem was too!!! Thank goodness I have a friend that is a computer geek and he fixed it and charged me a day at the pond fishing. He did a recovery back to the day before my issues started and fixed it in about 30 minutes. I hope you have the same luck getting your’s fixed!!
