And Crown Thy Good With Brotherhood — Tuesday, July 1, 2014

I am very bless!  Most assuredly I am!

John Myerson recently wrote me to tell me he has added my site to his Family Farmer Support  resource page.  How cool is that!?

Hi,
I recently added your site as a family farmer support site  to my resource page at www.familyfarmer.org
Thank you,

John Myerson.

You can find your site listed here:
http://www.familyfarmer.org/blogs-by-family-farmers/

Kate also sent along these following photos from the Kingdom of Chiconia (smile)

But TWO beautiful sunsets!
I have some other great photos that have come in over the past week, but I think I’ll save them for next Tuesday.

Photo gifts from sea to shining sea!

We’ve started July!  The early summer days.  Hot weather and (continuing) hot winds!  BUT I AM NOT COMPLAINING…I know what six months down the road brings — and it isn’t just my birthday.  😦

Alfala

I’ll leave you with a shot of the alfalfa field…two more weeks and it will be haying time again!

Your Western Colorado Farm Friend,

Linda

  1. The resource site is really cool – glad they chose to add your blog site 🙂 Congrats!
Love the shots Kate sent to you. Thanks for sharing them with us!

  2. Those wonderful sky shots Linda. We have started haymaking this week – now we have to hope that the weather holds good for the next few weeks so that the farmer can get the work done for various folk around who only have one field each. The alfalfa field looks to be thriving.

  3. your pictures are always so amazing….especially the first one…which is always so huge. Do you have a panorama camera or what? You’re a great photog and I think a poet too! Thanks for a great blog!

  4. Those are gorgeous photos.
July 1? Where did June go? It was HOT today. 93! We moved heifers, had lunch at 2 pm. Then sat in the pool! Nice!

  5. Perfect timing! Love your gorgeous photos and farm. I just posted the rest of these lyrics with my farm pic and found you after getting the same email from familyfarmer. We also have a beloved old Beagle who roams our crop fields (hunting groundhogs as much as rabbits). Delighted to meet another fun farm blogger and planning on returning often to visit!
    hugs,
    Leslie
