Pink Rain—-Thursday, October 22, 2015

Pink-Rain

Last week a little storm played over the Uncompahgre Plateau…(Un-come-pah-gray).

As I stood taking a photo of the sunset and the pink rain cloud — a wedge of returning geese passed over us…calling to all who could hear…”we have returned, winter in near.”

As always your friend,

Linda

  1. We have flocks of magpie geese passing overhead too, but their message is different here: “summer’s coming, weather’s warmer, let’s get back to our breeding grounds and make as much noise as we can while we’re doing it!”

  2. Such a beautiful header, Linda! And the ‘pink rain’ cloud! We had a strong storm come thru late last evening and during the night….2″ of rain and tons of wind. Wish we could have had your pretty pink rain! A gray day today with early morning fog that has now dissipated. It’s soup weather!!!

    Blessings!
