The clouds blew away and the sun came out! Our temperatures rose to 50*, and the animals and I went outside and danced in the sun’s rays!
The sun threw shadows and light on what drifts remained.
Then all too soon that beautiful golden orb slipped behind the Uncompahgre Plateau
But for a brief moment in time we were flooded with light!
From my world to your heart!
Linda

Oh Linda, after your last post about the cold, I can feel your joy and appreciation at receiving the gift of light and a little bit of warmth from the sun. I’m so glad you had this.

I always do so much better, even if it is cold, if there is sun!

Striking and heartwarming as always, friends over there!!! So absolutely beautiful. Winter has it’s good points, I can agree with that. WE are expecting a major blizzard today they say, but as yet all is calm! Blessings to you!

Great shot of the plane.
Certainly different here – yesterday here in Sydney it hit 41 Celsius.
Then in the afternoon from nowhere a cooling and ferrous 15 minute change
and the temperature plummeted. Gave me a job – leaf removalist at the pool!
Pools are great – pity they attract leaves – ha ha.
Off to Terrigal on Saturday – have my seniors travel card today.
$2.50 anywhere all day in NSW and IF you and Terry come and have a US seniors card you can get one also. Now that is a bonus for tourists.
Cheers
Colin

Goodness – ferocious storm – FERROUS????????????
I blame that plane and the slip stream – ha ha.
I am sure Boomer would not take the blame.

We had a little sun today toward evening and that was it. I am tired of winter:)

ME TOO! I so rejoice when I have even a ray of sun. We are dark and gloomy again today.

It looks so beautiful with the sun shining on the snow. The sun makes all the difference, doesn’t it? Our temps are dropping like a rock without the cloud cover but I work so much faster when the sun is shining. It just helps.

Sun is so wonderful; our Colorado family loves sunshine — they don’t care so much about it being warm or cold, just that they got tired of the gray of the Pacific Northwest. Colorado is definitely the place for them. It seems like they get some sun most days even in the winter.
